Ten arrests at Jersey festival

[1 September 2008]

Ten people were arrested at the Jersey Live festival, which took place on the island over the weekend.

Three of the arrests were for drug-related offences, while other arrests were for drunkeness, fighting, assaults and not obeying police. More than 120 people were treated by medical staff and 90 people were evicted from the event. One woman also reported an indecent assault, which police are investigating.
