Appeal over stabbed 11-year old

An appeal has been made for witnesses after a boy was stabbed 11 times in Leicestershire a year ago.

Ibraheem Tayub was attacked after leaving late prayers at the mosque on Spinney Hill on 21 September 2007. He was stabbed in the chest and stomach and spent a week in intensive care. A 32-year old man was arrested but later released without charge. Police have been working over the last year to piece together information over the incident, but are still missing key information.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
