Family believes son is innocent of murder
[4 June 2008]
The family of Neil Entwistle, a British man standing trial for killing his wife and baby, believe he is innocent.
Mr Entwistle, from Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is charged with killing his wife Rachel and daughter Lillian Rose. His parents and brother have said outside of court that they know he is 100% innocent. On 20 January 2006 Mr Enwistle's American wife and their baby daughter were found dead in the Hopkinton, Massachusetts house they had been renting. Mr Entwistle has denied murder and gun related charges, but prosecutors have evidence that he searched the Internet for ways to kill people or commit suicide. Mr Entwistle also fled the US the morning after his family was found dead, returning to his parent's house in Worksop. The process of jury selection for the double murder case is currently taking place.
