Nine arrested over stabbed man

Nine people have been arrested in connection with a 27-year old man found stabbed in his car.

Mubasher Hussain Ashraf was found with a knife wound in his Audi A3 in Hinckley on 6 September. Eight men and one woman, aged between 16 and 27 were arrested on Sunday after raids at several addresses in Leicester and Hinckley. They continue to be questioned at Euston Street police station. Despite the arrests, police are still asking for witnesses to come forward who saw Mr Ashraf or his car last weekend.
