Nursing home murderer pleads guilty

A man has admitted to murdering two women during a burglary in their nursing home.

Nathan Mann, 20, killed Rashmi Badiani, 56, and Radhaben Chauhan, 72, at the Hayes Park Nursing Home in Leicester in November. Mann pleaded guilty to two charges of murder when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court. The case has now been adjourned while psychiatric reports are prepared. Mann's defence team have said that he has no memory of the incident, in which Mrs Badiani suffered head injuries and Mrs Chauban was smothered.
