Seatbelt offender crackdown

Drivers and passengers caught not wearing seatbelts in Nottinghamshire will face a £30 fine.
Nottinghamshire Police will be checking cars across the county as part of a European and National Seatbelt campaign. Last year, seven deaths and 18 serious injuries occurred on Nottinghamshire's roads because people weren't wearing seatbelts. The campaign will also target people using mobile phones while they drive.
