Man arrested after boat deaths

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two people on a canal boat near Milton Keynes.
Emergency services were called to Stoke Hammond just after midnight after receiving reports of a man and a woman seriously hurt on a canal boat. The man, 59, and woman, 39, who have not yet been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
