Illegal drugs have cost £110billion

The total crime and health costs of Class A drug use has been £110billion in the last 10 years.
According to the report by the charity Addaction, £100billion of this cost has been of drug-related crime, while an additional £10billion has been spent dealing with drug-related health problems.
The Government is due to unveil a new ten-year drugs strategy this week.
