New counter-terrorism campaign
[25th February 2008]
A new advertising campaign by the Metropolitan Police Service is encouraging people to call the Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321 if they suspect terrorist activity.
The campaign has not been launched in response to a specific threat. It focuses on asking people to trust their instincts if they suspect something suspicious.
The advertising campaign focuses on individuals who have a number of mobile phones. Terrorists need communication and have been known to collect and use a number of handsets and SIM cards.
Terrorism. If you suspect it, report it
Call the confidential anti-terrorist hotline on 0800 789 321 if you have information about suspected terrorist activity.
