Significant finds in Jersey cellar

After more 'significant' finds in a cellar at the Jersey children's home, police continue searching for more evidence to support the child abuse allegations.

Excavations of bricked-up cellars in the children's home at Haut de la Garenne unearthed a shallow bath and a set of shackles. This follows the discovery of a child's skull last Saturday.

The new discoveries are significant because they back up claims that people have made about abuse in the children's home.
