85-year-old robbed at cash machine
A man, aged 85, was robbed at a cash machine in the centre of Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon [6 February 2012].
The victim had a three-figure sum of money stolen from him outside the bank on Nicolson Street. The incident occurred at approximately 1.20pm.
The suspect was wearing brown shoes and stonewashed jeans. He is described as being aged between 20-30 years, white, athletic build and around 5ft 10in tall.
Street 'busy'
A police spokesperson said: "The street was busy with both pedestrians and traffic on Saturday afternoon, so we are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time, and may have noticed a man acting suspiciously, to get in touch."
