House raid in Hampshire for clues of grandmother's murder

[29th January 2008]

A house in Hampshire has been raided as the police continue searching for the criminals who killed grandmother, Georgina Edmonds, two weeks ago. It has been suggested that residents in the local area of Otterbourne might know information about the murderer(s).

As yet, nobody has come forward to the police - more than two weeks after Mrs Edmonds was murdered in her cottage in Brambridge, near Otterbourne.

Over the weekend, police were searching a semi-detached property where four men were believed to have been renting. The occupants of the house have been housed in temporary accommodation after giving police statements.
