Intruder rapes woman, 75, in her home
A 75-year-old woman has been raped in her flat in Greater Manchester [9 January 2012]
The attack happened at the woman's flat in Oldham at about 18:00 GMT on Saturday.
The woman answered a call to flat from a man who said that he needed to check a problem in the flat.
After answering the door at the communal block she tried to refuse him entry, but the man got through the door and followed her back to her flat where he raped her before fleeing.

Det Insp Danny Inglis from the Oldham Volume Crime Team said: "To rape a 75-year-old woman in her own home is truly despicable and we need to catch this man and lock him away for a very long time.
"I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man fitting this description to come forward.
"If you see him hanging around or he tries to gain access to your flat, please do not let him in under any circumstances and call police immediately."
The offender is described as white, between 25 and 35-years-old and between 5ft 7in and 6ft tall.
He is of medium build was clean shaven with short hair and spoke with a local accent.
