Woman abducted in stolen car

Two men have been arrested after a car was hijacked in Hull and a 23-year-old female passenger was abducted [27 January 2012]

The car was left parked on Albion Street with the engine running when a man allegedly got inside and drove off at high speed.

The woman was waiting in the car for her partner.

The car collided with another vehicle shortly after. The man then grabbed the passenger's handbag before exiting the car and fleeing the scene.

A member of the public chased the driver for a short period of time before he got away.

Two other cars, which were parked nearby, were also hit in the incident. A male driver of one of the vehicles was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The two arrested me are being questioned by police in custody.
