Mother charged for baby death

A 20-year old British woman has been charged for causing the death of her new-born baby while on holiday in Crete.

Leah Andrew, from London, is being accused of infanticide. She had been on a night out with a family member and a friend, before she returned to the hotel to give birth to the baby boy. The baby was found with sheets around his neck and covering his face. Ms Andrew is currently on guard in hospital, suffering heavy bleeding following the birth.
