Student murderer suffered exam pressure

A law student on trial for killing his guardian apparently 'snapped' due to exam pressure.

David Quartley, 22, from Kent is denying the murder of Dr Victoria Anyetei, in August last year. The consultant paediatrician was found inside her car in her driveway with 56 stab wounds. Originally from Ghana, Mr Quartey had lied to Dr Anyetei about failing his exams for a second time, which put his visa in jeopardy.
