Young people worry about knife crime

55% of young people fear being victims of knife crime during the summer, a BBC London survey has found.

The poll surveyed 501 young people aged between 13 and 18 in the London boroughs of Brent, Croydon, Hackney, Lambeth and Southwark. The survey also revealed that 45% know someone who has been a victim of knife crime, and 75% thought that the government and London mayor Boris Johnson would not be able to reduce the crime over the coming months.
