Cyclist, 15, dies in crash
A teenage cyclist has died in a road collision in Nottinghamshire. [3 July 2012]
Police said Harrison Carlin, aged 15, from Hucknall, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Forest Lane, Papplewick on Sunday.
The bicycle he was riding towards Mansfield Road was in collision with a Mitsubishi Lancer car travelling in the same direction.
No one else was hurt in the collision.
Police were called to the incident at around 2.20pm and Forest Lane was closed in both directions following the incident.
The road was re-opened at 8.30pm.
