Leslie denies knowing woman making rape claim

Former TV presenter John Leslie denies a new rape allegation, calling it “totally untrue” and claiming not to know the accusing woman.

He read a statement to the media in central London yesterday, telling journalists the allegation is “the mother of all stitch-ups.” Leslie is bitter that the rape crime he was accused of committing in 2003 destroyed his public career and the current allegations are destroying his private life. The latest allegations against Leslie are claimed to have taken place at his house in Sheen, West London in November 1995. The accuser was in her early 20s at the time.
