Two puppies stolen by bogus buyer
A woman has appealed for the return of her two Springer spaniels after a man posing as a potential buyer stole them [7 June 2011]
The six week old Springer spaniels were stolen from the devastated woman’s home on Keyersbridge Farm, Wokingham Road, Friday, at 1700 BST.
She had placed an advert to sell the puppies, which she said are worth £350.
When the buyer arrived to see them he claimed that his partner had a sprained ankle and took the puppies outside to allegedly show her. He then drove off with the puppies.
The puppies were too young to be micro chipped.
