Four vehicle fires in Wrexham thought to be deliberate

Four vehicles in Wrexham caught fire in just over an hour of each other, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has said. [25 June 2012]

It is believed the fires were started deliberately and police have been informed.

The fire service said crews were called to the first fire at 00:35 BST on Sunday, followed by two similar incidents, and the final at 01:39 BST.

Crews were called to the vehicle fires in Derwent Close, Hazel Grove, Park Avenue and Anthony Eden Drive.
