A 31-year-old has been charged with the murder of a man who was found stabbed to death in a garden in Coventry. [12 June 2012]

The body of Nigerian national Adebayo Adeniran was discovered outside an empty house in North Avenue, Coventry, at around 9.30am last Thursday.

A post-mortem examination revealed that 31-year-old Mr Adeniran, known locally as Patrick, died as a result of multiple stab wounds.

West Midlands Police said a 31-year-old Coventry man will appear before magistrates in the city, charged with murder.

A 30-year-old woman, who was also arrested in connection with the death, has been bailed pending further inquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Markham, from Force CID, said: "Inquiries are ongoing and we are continuing to appeal from anyone who knows anything about what happened and I am particularly keen to establish Mr Adeniran's movements on Wednesday evening."
