Crime costs every Londoner £400

Crime cost Londoners £3billion last year, which is the equivalent of £400 per resident.
The Taxpayers' Alliance used Home Office and police data in their report. For people living in Westminster, the cost of crime was £620 per person - higher than in any other London borough.
The borough with the second highest cost of crime was Islington, followed by Tower Hamlets. Richmond-upon-Thames had the lowest cost of crime, at £215 per resident.
