Police arrest armed teenage gang

Police stopped a teenage gang armed with 16 weapons on a bus in south-east London.

Officers saw the large group board the bus in Evelyn Street, Deptford on Saturday night and called for back up before they locked the youths inside the bus and searched them. 24 teenagers, 14 to 18-years-old, were arrested but then later bailed. The weapons ranged from knives and screwdrivers to a baseball bat and a metal bar.
