A5 crash victim named

Northamptonshire Police has named a man who was killed in a traffic accident on the A5 on Sunday. [14 March 2012]

Joe Butler, 19, from Daventry, was killed when his black Volkswagen Polo left the carriageway and rolled several times as it was travelling between Watford and Dodford at around 2am.

Mr Butler died at the scene, while his passengers were taken to Northampton General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

People who witnessed this traffic accident are urged to contact Northamptonshire Police on non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
