Victim of hit-and-run discovered dead in road
A 25-year-old man has died after being the victim of a hit-and-run incident in High Wycombe [19 March 2012].
Mr Adamson, from Nantwich in Cheshire, was struck down in Cockpit Road, in the Great Kingshill area of High Wycombe.
The incident occurred at approximately 10.45pm on Thursday 15 March.
It is alleged that Ryan Adamson had been involved in an altercation at a house in Buckinghamshire shortly before the incident.
The 25-year-old was hit by a light or silver-coloured saloon car which failed to stop. It is believed the car may have been damaged at the front end nearside due to the crash.
Th results of a preliminary post-mortem examination show that he died from the injuries received when the vehicle hit him.
Detective Chief Inspector Wootton said: "Although the circumstances leading up to Ryan's death remain under investigation, our focus is on identifying the car and the driver involved."
Three men have so far been arrested in connection with the incident who have been released on bail.
