Woman jailed for fire deaths

A 23-year old has been jailed for starting a house fire which claimed the lives of her former lover and a baby.

Marie Sharp, from Leeds, lit a rag and stuffed it through the letterbox of the house in December. The fire killed Sharp's fomer lover Gavin Battensby, 27, and 15-month old Kyra Moran, who Battensby tried to save. Ms Sharp will serve at least five and a half years in jail.
