Boy punched and robbed at fun park

Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy was punched and robbed at a fun park in Ipswich. [30 May 2012]

The boy was heading to the toilets within the park in Alderman Road at around 5.45pm last Saturday when he was approached by a man who demanded his phone.

He then punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, before taking money from his wallet.

The man is described as approximately 5'8" tall, of mixed race, between 18 to 20 years old and of a slim build.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call DC Ruth Hayter from Ipswich Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
