Crawley boy injured in collision with car
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old Crawley boy was in collision with a car in the town on Saturday afternoon (May 12). [15 May 2012]
The boy suffered a fractured elbow, broken teeth and other injuries when he was in collision with a black Ford Ka as he crossed the road in Kilnmead, near the junction with Exchange Road, at about 4.30pm. The driver of the car, a 62-year-old woman from Crawley, was uninjured.
PC Cliff Dale from Sussex Police Road Policing Unit said: "We believe that there are people who witnessed the collision and would have seen the woman driver get out and talk to the boy who sat on the verge following the incident. He is now recovering at home."
