15 in court after Romanian gang raids

Fifteen people have appeared in court after a series of police raids resulted in ten children being taken into care.
The criminals from Berkshire were believed to be part of Romanian gangs who have been trafficking children into the UK, to beg and steal for them.
The 15 were arrested during 'Operation Caddy', a joint operation between the Metropolitan Police and Thames Valley Police.
Appearing before Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday. The charges against them included mobile phone thefts, immigration offences and one was found to be in breach of a deportation order.
