Kent Securitas criminals await sentencing

Following their trial which has lasted 7 months, five men are due to be sentenced after being convicted of kidnap, robbery and firearms charges. In 2006, these men raided a Securitas depot in Kent, leaving with £53million.

During the raid, the depot manager, Colin Dixon, and his family were kidnapped at gunpoint by men posing as police officers.

CCTV footage showed the criminals were armed with various weapons - a Skorpian machine pistol, a shotgun, a handgun and an AK47 rifle.

The Dixon family were kidnapped from their home and toed up in the Securitas depot along with 15 other depot workers.

Since the robbery, police has recovered £21million of the stolen money, but the remaining £32million is still yet to be found.
