Man charged for murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a 26-year old woman in Levenshulme.

Sabina Akhtar, who is known in the local community as KumKum, was found in a house on Charlton Road. A post-mortem found that she died from a stab wound. Malik Mannan, 35, from Meldon Road in Longsight, has been charged with her murder and will appear before magistrates.
