Remains of two babies found in a box
[12th May 2008]
The skeletons of two babies were found in a box at a Greater Manchester house.
The elderly woman who owned the house had recently died, and it is believed that a relative was cleaning out the house when the box was discovered. Greater Manchester Police were called on Thursday night after the finding. With the help of other experts, they are now investigating the cause of the deaths and the identity and age of the remains. It is unknown whether or not the deceased woman was the mother. No arrests have been made.
