12-year old attacked by gang

A 12-year old boy was attacked and beaten by a gang in Londonderry.

The assault happened at 1.10pm on Carlisle Road on Sunday, where the boy was walking with a friend. Up to six youths shouted abuse and attacked one of the boys, who suffered cuts and bruising. Police are investigating whether the attacked was sectarian motivated.
