Arson attack on unoccupied house
[29 May 2008]
An arson attack on an unoccupied house could have easily spread to adjoining residences, said firefighters.
The house blazed in the early hours of Thursday after two wheeled bins were lit in the living room and the boiler shed was set on fire. The arsonist also attempted to set the oil tank of fire, but failed. The terraced property was in Drummond Park in Strabane. Firefighters have said that although the house was abandoned, the lives of neighbouring property residents were jeopardised.
