Arson attacker was not racially motivated

The Court of Appeals has reduced the jail term for the man who set fire to a house while seven Polish people were inside.

Ryan McBride of east Belfast had his prison sentence cut from five to four years because his drunken crime was not racially motivated. McBride, 26, pleaded guilty to arson after attacking the property in August 2006.
