Scottish teenagers in fear of crime

NCH Scotland has found that a large proportion of young people in Scotland are living in fear of crime.
The NCH survey, which was carried out across the UK, had responses from 200 Scottish teenagers. The survey found that most teenagers carry guns or knives for protection.
A 15-year old boy from Glasgow said that he'd carried a knife before to protect his mother. An 18-year old boy from Irvine said that carrying weapons makes people feel safe on the street.
