Foster mother abuser fights jail sentence

A foster mother who abused children in her care wants to have her 14-year jail sentence cut.

Eunice Spry was found guilty of 26 counts of physical and mental abuse, and perverting the course of justice. Spry, from Tewkesbury, was described as 'sadistic' during her trial. Her abuse included forcing sticks down the children's throats and making them eat their own vomit. She denies all charges and says she loved the children. The abuse came to light when one of her victims confided in a member of their church.
