Held at gunpoint for chips

A teenager has been threatened with an air rifle by a youth who demanded his takeaway food.

The 17-year old victim had just bought some chips in Ouston, County Durham, when another youth held a gun to his face and demanded he handed the food over. After handing over the chips, the victim walked away but heard the weapon discharge and felt a projectile go past his hand.

The attacker is white, aged about 17, of medium build and 5ft 9in tall with a local accent.
