Shooting suspect to be interviewed

[22 September 2008]

Police are due to question a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting in Truro.

The 23-year old apparently killed 41-year old businessman Adam Hustler and seriously injured his wife Amanda, who is in hospital fighting for her life. The suspect is thought to be an ex-boyfriend of the couple's daughter. The couple were Jehovah's Witnesses, which apparently caused some conflict with their daughter's relationships in the past. It also means that seriously ill Amanda Hustler will not be allowed a blood transfusion if she needs one. The arrested man, who suffered self-inflicted facial wounds from the incident, was arrested at a house in Penzance.
