Woman stabbed to death in college office

A woman has been killed at the offices of an east London college after she was stabbed several times.

The 23-year old victim suffered fatal stab wounds to her chest and neck at about 6pm on Monday. She was attacked in a college for foreign students on Balaam Street in Plaistow. A 29-year old man who suffered a neck injury in the attack has been arrested. A second woman who was also injured in the attack has been discharged from hospital.
