Student murdered in racist attack

A 16-year old student from Qatar has died after he was attacked in Hastings.

Mohammed Al-Majed suffered from head injuries after he was attacked outside a takeaway restaurant in the East Sussex town on Friday. He died in London's Kings College Hospital on Sunday. He had spent fives weeks in England and was due to return to Qatar next weekend. The attack was believed to be racially motivated, following an argument between Mohammed and his friends and some local youths. Three men were arrested and released on bail.
