No murder proof for Crete deaths

The deaths of Terence and Josephine Johnson, found in their home on the Greek island of Crete in 2006, cannot be proven as murder, a coroner has ruled.

Although the couple from Newlyn, Cornwall, were found stabbed and strangled in their home, the crime cannot be proven to be more than manslaughter. Murder charges against their son, Ryan Johnson, were dropped by Greek police.
