Man jailed for hoax bomb on bus incident

A 23-year old follower of Islamic militancy who left a hoax bomb on a Rotherham-bound bus has been jailed for 7 years.
Nicholas Roddis has denied the terrorism-related charges, but has been sentenced to five years in jail for engaging in the preparation of an act of terrorism, and two years for placing the hoax bomb on a bus with intent. He left the device , which included wires and a clock, after boarding the bus in disguise. Police also found various articles of incriminating evidence in his home, including information about making an explosive device, chemicals acetone and hydogen peroxide, fuse wire and nails.
