Man stabbed in Indian Palace kitchen identified

A man stabbed to death in the kitchen of Wakefield restaurant Indian Palace has been identified as Syed Ghulan Zilani.

48-years-old and a father-of-three, Mr Zilani was stabbed in the stomach at the Indian Palace on Smyth Street. The attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday and the man died later in hospital. West Yorkshire Police have charged a man with attempting to pervert the course of justice and a woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
