• Most wanted fugitive arrested on entering UK

  Crimestoppers can confirm that one of the most wanted individuals from the latest Operation Captura appeals, Jody Flynn from Merseyside, was arrested on Friday 19 February as he attempted to enter the country from Spain at the port of Dover using an alias. [23 February 2010]

• Anti-violence campaign launched in Telford

  At the launch of an anti-violence campaign, crime-fighting charity, Crimestoppers, appealed for information on violent crime in Telford’s Asian-Muslim community. [23 February 2010]

• Most Wanted distraction burglar arrested

  Crimestoppers can confirm that Dennis Yull, a most wanted individual from the top 10 most wanted distraction burglar list, has been arrested. [4 February 2010]

• Two most wanted distraction burglars arrested

  Crime-fighting charity, Crimestoppers, can confirm that two individuals who appeared on the list of top 10 most wanted distraction burglars have been arrested, following appeals made through the media. One known distraction burglar (who was not on the top ten list) arrested by police was found to have a copy of The Sun newspaper's top ten distraction burglars article in his pocket! • Most wanted distraction burglars target the elderly

  Crime-fighting charity, Crimestoppers, is today launching a list of 10 Most Wanted people sought in connection with distraction burglaries and warning people to be careful about who they let into their homes, as the traditional peak time for this crime approaches (February/March). Distraction burglary is a crime which particularly effects elderly people, the average age of a victim is 81-years-old. [18 January 2010]

  UK crime-fighting charity, Crimestoppers, can confirm that one of the Most Wanted men under Operation Captura, Joseph Stephen Morley, was arrested in Merseyside yesterday afternoon. [15 January 2010]
