• The Crimestoppers Ball

  Court appearances shouldn't have been this much fun… This year's Crimestoppers Ball, held at the Royal Courts of Justice on Wednesday 17th November, was our biggest and most spectacular yet, raising over £40,000 for the charity. [28th November 2004]

• Crimestoppers Conference 2004

  This year the Crimestoppers National Conference took place in Scotland at the Moat House Hotel in Glasgow. [16th November 2004]

• Gun crime campaign

  We launched a campaign on Gun Crime at Capital fm (Capital Radio Group) in Leicester Square. [1st October 2004]

• Bruce Oldfield Book Launch

  Bruce Oldfield launches his autobiography "Rootless" in aid of Crimestoppers at Claridges. [1st October 2004]

• Gun Crime Campaign

  Gun crime is one of the major crime concerns facing Britain today and Crimestoppers will therefore be unveiling its Anti-Gun Crime campaign to launch this year's annual Crimestoppers Week – September 20th – 26th 2004. [14th September 2004]

• Crimestoppers Launches Rebrand With Charity Awareness Campaign

  In May 2003 Crimestoppers unveiled a new logo and image for the charity in order to negate the widespread public belief that it is run by the government or police. In a shift away from the shadowy figures used in previous campaigns, the campaign imagery presents normal people with their faces hidden in a natural fresh way. [7th August 2004]

• Operation Orb Commendation Ceremony - 21st July 2004

  Crimestoppers hosted an awards ceremony in London to present commendations to police officers and police staff from six forces who were responsible for the arrest and conviction of serial rapist, Antoni Imiela, in March 2004. [3rd August 2004]

• Crimestoppers Statistics - January 2004

  20 arrests a day - Crimestoppers announces figures. 2003 was one of the most successful years in the Crimestoppers Trust's 15 year history. New figures released today show that the numbers of calls and arrests both reached record highs. [3rd January 4004]
