Crimestoppers provides phone line for Madeleine McCann investigation

Crimestoppers has been asked to help provide an avenue for people to give information from Portugal about Madeleine McCann.

Due to difficulties with international phone routing our usual 0800 555 111 number will not work. Therefore, for this case we are making an exception and publishing our international delivery number. Anyone in Portugal with information about the whereabouts of Madeleine Mccann can give information anonymously on 44 1883 731 336.

Information will be passed on to Leicestershire Constabulary who are the lead home force working with the Portugese Police on this case.

Since the investigation began, the Crimestoppers Bureau has handled almost 1,500 international calls and has provided 205 pieces of useful information to the Police.
