Most Wanted shortlisted for Digital Marketing Award

[2nd February 2007]

Most Wanted has been shortlisted for an award for the Digital Marketer of the year, in the Revolution Awards which are given to the best examples of digital marketing in the areas of effectiveness and accessibility.

For over 10 years the Revolution Awards have consistently recognised digital marketers and their agencies for outstanding work in promoting products and services and have become the premier annual event for the digital marketing industry.

Stephen Belgrave Manager of Crimestoppers Most Wanted said: “We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this award because it is a great recognition of our achievements. Most Wanted has been a phenomenal success with information received leading to 27 arrests and over 75 million hits to the site, since it was launched in 2005. The interest from the public, the media and law enforcement agencies eager to work with us on campaigns shows the unique power of this vital online tool. Most Wanted is the only place where the public can help to stop crime in their communities by viewing the appeals and giving us information safely and anonymously.”

Most Wanted is one, of only six nominees shortlisted for the Digital Marketer of the year award in the not for profit category. The award will be given to the client marketer that is considered to have made the most effective use of digital channels in the previous 12 months to meet their marketing objectives. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in March 2007.
