Win a day at the David Beckham Academy by entering Crimestoppers' Christmas card competition

The charity Crimestoppers has launched a nationwide competition for young people to design its 2010 Christmas card with great prizes to be won. [July 2009]

The competition, which has been divided into three age categories, gives the winning entrants an opportunity for their designs to be seen by thousands of people across the country.

As crime rates rise at Christmas, Crimestoppers want entrants to highlight this on their designs. The categories and age groups are as follows:

Crimestoppers' Christmas Card CompetitionAge 5-10

Matthew Wilk, Crimestoppers' Head of Youth, said: “Crimestoppers wants to tap into the creativity and imagination of young people for this competition which we hope will result in some eye-catching and unusual designs for our Christmas card. We also want them to reflect on some very serious crime issues which can affect people during the festive period.”

The closing date for entries is 5pm Friday 8 January. Find out further details about the Christmas Card Competition, how to enter and download the poster.
